Brant Beach, Long Beach Island

While many couples opt for a casual beach wedding on Long Beach Island, it can also be the perfect backdrop for a sophisticated and elegant black & white affair. That’s exactly what Gabby & Jim did, celebrating their nuptials in a classic, coastal ceremony in their happy place!

Nestled on the bayfront in Brant Beach, the Brant Beach Yacht Club boasts panoramic views of the water, making it a truly breathtaking location. Its main clubhouse offers elegant indoor and outdoor spaces, including a covered outdoor deck and a spacious rooftop deck – perfect for catching those iconic LBI sunsets.

Gabby looked gorgeous in her gown and her make-up by Slay Makeup truly slayed. Jim was blown away (and no, not by the strong winds that day!) and looked extra dapper himself! The bridal party looked elegant in all black errything.

Their waterside ceremony was a beautiful reminder that perfection isn’t about flawless conditions; it’s about the genuine love, laughter, and spirit of the couple. The wind simply became another unique element of their story, making their “I do’s” even more cinematic and heartfelt.

After a cool cocktail at The Roving Bar, we ventured around the dock and beach for some golden hour portraits. Inside, the yacht club venue was filled with black and white accents, bows and baby’s breath. Subtle nods to their pup, Harley, donned the decor too.

A few tearful speeches later (including an impromptu one by the adorable flower girl!), guests partied the night away to “Country Roads”, a nod to the bride & groom’s alma mater, West Virginia University. And my favorite part had to be the a surprise dance floor appearance by The Cannoli Guy! I’ll take a cannoli with my cha-cha slide any day.
