A Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club Wedding

Kendall & Jack got married on a blue bird fall day at Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club in Spring Lake, NJ with the help of planner A Lovely Universe.

Their Wedding

Spring Lake B&T was the perfect location for two lovers of the beach and that truly showed through in their stunning reveal photos in the sand and poolside aesthetics. The wedding decor consisted of hints of French blues and lavender purples.

Kendall looked absolutely gorgeous in her gown by Vesa Brides, which we were sure to grab a ton of portraits in at the artsy & modern boutique hotel K picked out, the James Bradley Hotel (which might be my new fave getting ready spot *hint hint* area brides!). During prep, Kendall’s mom surprised her with a sentimental monogrammed bouquet wrap!

Jack wore a classic blue tux by Indochino which he complemented with lots of gold trinkets – the antique lover in him! The pair had the perfect evening of celebrating their love with all of their close family & friends on the dancefloor rocking out – the bride and her dad even getting on the mic with the band!

Their Love Story

Kendall & Jack met at work! Both are art appraisers (how cool!). Jack was the first person Kendall shook hands with on her first day (little did she know where that handshake would lead…). The two grew close and about a month into it, K asked J out to lunch and the rest is history. Since they were both conscious of their work situation, they kept their relationship a secret besides one person, who one day pulled Kendall aside and asked if they had a “thing” and Kendall asked, “why?” and she said, “I’ve never seen someone look at another person than how he looks at you.” From that point on, Kendall knew he was the one!

Their engagement was a huge surprise to Kendall – the two went on a bike ride on a hot summer day with her sister and sister’s husband and after insisting they walk down to the water in Asbury Park, Jack pointed out a big bouquet of flowers in the sand. Kendall says she was “completely oblivious about what was going on.” As they walked closer, Jack “kept looking back with the biggest smile on his face” and that’s when she realized what was happening. It was spelled out in the sand and Jack got down on one knee. After, friends and family joined and Jack surprised her again with a party at her parent’s house to celebrate.
