I loved capturing this ultra feminine, Bridgerton meets boho bridal shower at Avenue Le Club in Long Branch, NJ. Hosted by her mother Giovanna, Alexandra’s vision came true at this French restaurant on the Jersey Shore.
The colors theme was lots of white with pops of soft beige, light pink, and dusty blue. Not only did this bridal shower palette make the whole event feel ethereal, but it matched the colors of the space and breathtaking view of the beach perfectly. It was tres chic! The only guest missing was Bridgerton’s Lady Whistledown herself.

HOW THEY MET
Alexandra & Dan are both graduates of Rutgers University. Nothing short of world travelers, the two got engaged in Moscow, Russia in front of St. Basil’s Cathedral! “Dan convinced me that we should spend the day in Red Square before going to the Moscow Ballet,” writes Alexandra, “He pulled off the surprise of a lifetime and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.”
The two decided to plan their wedding in September 2021 in one of their favorite destinations to visit: Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Of course, Alexandra wanted to keep her bridal shower close to home in New Jersey, and opted for Avenue Le Club along the Jersey Shore. Also monikered simply “Avenue,” the Long Branch restaurant prides itself on being “the modern answer to a blend of the Parisian brasserie and the luxurious beaches of St Tropez on the Atlantic beachfront. It has brought Savoir-vivre to the Jersey Shore with its dramatic high ceilings, classic brasserie banquettes in an oceanic palette, pearl colored marble tiles that shimmer under the light and 25-foot bar, inspired by the hull of a ship.”
