Bayonet Farm

First of all, I absolutely LOVE Bayonet Farm! If you are looking for portraits or your wedding in a rustic, barn like location, this is your location. There are so many spots to choose from for backgrounds that are simply stunning.

Samantha & Logan wanted a rustic background for their maternity photos, so of course we came to Bayonet Farm! It was a beautiful, sunny evening after an all grey cloudy day. We started near the distressed grey barn before moving to the tall grass (which I refer to as “whispies” since it’s not exactly pampas grass) to catch some gorgeous sun flares.

Samantha’s last outfit was a free-spirited boho look – light-washed jeans and an ethereal cardigan and crop top to show off her bump – and it was my favorite. Her mom actually tagged along for the shoot and spotted a sweet little patch of tulips that we decided to use and oh my goodness those photos!! I am also slightly obsessed with Sam’s “boy mom” bracelet from The Little Words Project. I’m definitely grabbing one of those for all my pregnant friends.
