I first met the new parents Amanda & Rob when they reached out for a family session of the two of them and their chihuahua mix pup, Lacey! We had a great time capturing some lifestyle photos of the three of them around their minimalistic, West Coast vibes home (seriously – I am already planning to mimic Avery’s boho neutral nursery for my next kid). When the couple welcomed their first daughter, baby Avery, into the world, I was so touched to be the one to take her newborn photos!
My approach to newborn photography is “lifestyle,” which is today’s way of saying natural, in your home, editorial – like something out of a magazine! Just you and your child in your element. No babies swaddled and stuffed in baskets or donning cheesy props here.
