I LOVE the holidays! There’s nothing like the magic of Christmas… or Halloween, Valentine’s Day, the Fourth of July… your girl loves a theme and an excuse to party!

Every year I offer holiday Mini Sessions for families and couples. My sister, Erica, the floral designer and owner of Cleveland based studio Rhythm Floral Co., and I like to put our creative brains together and come up with something completely unique and beautiful that’ll make our clients’ Xmas card recipients really say WOWZA!

This year, we went with a classic red and green color scheme. Erica built two disproportional arches, popular for wedding altars, and filled them with evergreen and spruce sprigs, ruby red carnations and tiny holly berries – a festive touch!

If you’re going to take professional photos at all, this is THE time to do it – especially if you have little ones. I am such a big proponent of making sure you capture your family annually because time flies and watching your children’s faces change year after year in photos is priceless for remembering how short life really is. Your kiddos will thank you when they get older and need to dig up photographs of themselves at different ages for school projects or their own wedding one day!
