Barnegat Lighthouse, Long Beach Island

Ah, Long Beach Island. The “happy place” of many an ALP couple! If LBI rings nostalgic for you, prepare to be swept away by this idyllic setting for Jennifer and Brendan’s enchanting engagement photos.

As a New Jersey wedding photographer, I always love capturing love stories in unique and meaningful locations, and Long Beach Island certainly delivered for this amazing couple! Our adventure began at the iconic Barnegat Lighthouse State Park, where the historic “Old Barney” provided a dramatic and picturesque backdrop for their LBI engagement photos. We explored the Barnegat Light area, capturing romantic portraits with the lighthouse towering in the background.

Then, for the perfect cotton candy sunset beach photos, we headed south to the beautiful beaches of Surf City, LBI, right near Brendan’s family’s beach house – a truly special and personal touch for their Jersey Shore engagement session. And guess who joined us for the grand finale? Their adorable King Charles Cavalier pup, Stella, adding an extra dose of cuteness to their couple’s portraits!

I’m so excited to be photographing their Indian Trail Club wedding this summer, and after this incredible Long Beach Island engagement shoot, I know their wedding day will be just as magical.
