Fall Wedding at The Inn at Fernbrook Farms

Cecilia & Kevin wed on the perfect late September day at The Inn at Fernbrook Farms in Chesterfield, NJ. Despite the rest of the month being a wash out, the day’s weather could not have been more perfect!

One of my favorite aspects of their wedding were their flowers. Yellow-orange roses, periwinkle blues, and pops of marigold decorated their venue. Their seating chart was a showstopper! A custom built wall titled “You’re Our Best Buds” held flowers from Botaniq Blooms with guests’ names. The Inn at Fernbrook Farms is a mainly outdoor venue with the reception space being under a clear tent and a scenic ceremony space underneath the trees. The 1750 Georgian Manor Home on the 230 acre farmland property provided a quaint setting for getting ready.

After a fun petal toss exit down the aisle, the couple strolled into their outdoor cocktail hour featuring a hand painted corn hole set, seasonal nibbles and a vintage caravan photo bus from Edie Mae Photo Booth. Their candlelit reception was a blast. C & K had a TON of hometown friends and family there who loved to party! The happy couple even got their chance to DJ!

THE PROPOSAL

Cecilia & Kevin are high school sweethearts! The East Coast natives, who love being outdoors, moved out west to pursue their career goals. While taking a hike in the Superstition Mountains in Arizona, Cecilia mentioned several times that it was “too hot” to hike all the way to the top. But Kevin kept encouraging her, and at the top Kevin proposed!

THEIR LOVE STORY

“Everyone who knows Kevin knows that he is one of the funniest people ever,” says Cecilia about Kevin. “He makes me laugh every day, even when I am having the worst of days, and I so admire this about him. He is also my partner in crime and in life, and is down for any type of adventure. Whether it’s pushing me up a mountain in Switzerland to exploring new restaurants every weekend here in PHX, he is always open to trying something new and he continuously makes our relationship fresh and exciting.”

“I love Cecilia’s energy and her passion for life,” says Kevin, “She is both the smart, kind veterinarian who you’d trust your pet’s life with, and also the spirited and fun-loving partner (with a knack for planning great trips) who never takes herself too seriously. I love Cecilia so much and am so lucky to be with her!”
