Indian Trail Club Wedding
Capturing Jennifer and Brendan’s wedding celebration at the Indian Trail Club featured a perfect blend of lakeside elegance and a love story ten years in the making.
Though they both lived in the same square mile of Hoboken for a decade, it took a “swipe right” on Bumble to finally bring them together. Their first date at Zack’s Oak Bar played out like a classic rom-com: a warm April evening, shared plates of gnocchi, and a sudden, chaotic rainstorm that sent them running for cover mid-date. They managed to snag a table inside to keep the spark alive, and by the time Brendan walked Jennifer home for a goodnight kiss, they were a “done deal.” By summertime, they were official, and the rest is history!
I was lucky enough to work with Jennifer & Brendan twice before their big day, capturing engagement photos for their save-the-dates in the wintertime in Hoboken, and on the sunny beach of Long Beach Island in the summertime for their actual engagement session. The wedding day itself was a beautiful whirlwind of all the things they’d been dreaming of while planning. From a high-stakes first look (where the goal was “no crying”!) to a special appearance by their precious pup Stella, the joy was infectious. A raincloud in the morning thankfully moved by the time the ceremony time hit, making for a beautiful outdoor moment and a gorgeous sunset later on.
After all the hard work, seeing these two finally walk down the aisle as husband and wife and hit the dance floor to celebrate with their favorite people was the ultimate payoff. It was the perfect “finally” for a couple that was always meant to be.
