Philadelphia Maternity Session
Miranda & Bill are expecting their first baby, a girl, this spring! We got so lucky with a beautiful, sun-shining day for their maternity shoot. We explored Old City Philadelphia. The bulk of the maternity photos were taken at the Merchant Exchange Building and Franklin Square Park. We crossed some scary highways (OK, maybe I was the scared one!) to find some unique photo spots. We even got their adorable curly-haired pup, Remy, in some shots that are sure to be memorable!
Miranda was rocking her black and pink dresses – both from Pink Blush Maternity. As much as I love a flowy maternity dress, the ones that hug your curves always look SO classy in photos! And Bill’s outfit complemented her so well. One thing I always do before my maternity photos sessions is send my soon-to-be parents a handy dandy guide filled with preparation tips, tricks and outfit suggestions. I can tell these two did their homework 😉
How stunning is this couple in these portraits?! One trick I’ve learned when photographing sessions during the wintertime is to find places with great architecture. The seasons may change the trees and ground, but never the side of a building.
I love photographing new, soon-to-be families and these two will be just the sweetest parents as can be. (Remy gives 4 paws up!)
