The Shore Club Wedding

What a fun-filled fete this The Shore Club wedding was! I LOVE Christmas (really, any holiday!) and when Lisa & Alex booked their wedding with me right around the holidays I knew there were going to be some festive touches I’d fall in love with!

WEDDING DAY

The best part about having a winter wedding, aside from everything, is the beautiful deep reds and emerald green color scheme you can do. Topped with a touch of gold and white and voila! Such an elegant, classic affair.

We braved through the winter wind at Divine Park for photos and a teary first look before heading inside at The Shore Club for the wedding. Lisa & Alex were the sweetest couple and down for anything! We fit in a gorgeous nighttime shot when we saw the red carpet rolled out, and this cute couple even snapped a shot with some stilt walkers that happened to be there for another event! So much love, health and happiness to this amazing couple in their marriage!

LOVE STORY

“L&A were introduced through mutual friends. They first met on a double date at Top Golf. Just as dating goes, they continued to see each other and went on multiple dates over the next month when they started to realize that it was meant to be. There wasn’t a moment that they knew they were “the one” for each other. It was everything – the way they balanced each other out.

Their first kiss was in the parking lot of 10th Avenue Burrito. They made it official and a few months later he packed his bags and he moved in with Lisa, but with one request – his cat, Mr. Kibbs, came too. “I’m allergic to cats,” Lisa said. Lisa let him bring the cat anyway. One of the things Alex loves the most about Lisa is how much she loves “their” cat! After two years of living together, they still have that spark, that initial connection that continued the “set up” into a beautiful life together.

Lisa and Alex got engaged on February 15, 2021. Lisa had absolutely no clue it was coming! She obviously was hinting at it for a while and knew it was going to happen soon. After hiding the ring in a sleeping bag in the basement for weeks, it was finally time.

On a casual Monday off, they went to Sandy Hook with friends. The weather was cold, chilly, and snow was on the ground. They were up on the lookout to the city and Alex got down on one knee while crying happy tears, he asked Lisa to marry him, be his forever – of course she said YES!”
