Long Branch, New Jersey

Kevin & Darlene had a beautiful sandy beach wedding ceremony in Long Branch, NJ where they celebrated afterwards at Avenue with their closest friends and family.

It was a beautiful blending of families, complete with a unity sand ceremony and three sentimental speeches by the couples’ respective children. Listening to their toasts honoring their new step parents brought a tear to my eye (as well as the entire room’s) and reminded me just how beautiful and lucky it is to find a life partner – no matter how old you are, your past or what stage of life you’re in.

The couple got ready and had their “first look” at the Ocean Place Resort + Spa next door. We found some fun palm trees right out back, which provided a scenic backdrop for some portraits that fit their beachy theme!

The florals at the venue by Barbara Bell Design were simple whites and greens to accent an already decorative space. I just love the vibrant turquoise of Avenue’s rooftop space. Plus, the hanging lanterns make it feel so magical! If you’re in the market for a casual feeling beach wedding venue, Avenue’s rooftfop can’t be beat!
