Looking for the best place to propose in New Jersey? There happen to be a lot of them!

It’s finally time for you to pop the question to your partner. Your nerves are going crazy. You want this to be PERFECT. Where would they least expect? Where would be the most meaningful location to your relationship? What unique idea could you pull off that they would remember forever?

I have photographed many a proposal and it is so much fun to be “in on the secret” and see your partner’s face light up when they realize what is going on. There is nothing like the feeling of getting engaged! You’re in shock, overwhelmed with happiness and excited to start planning your future together.

Whether you’re closer to NYC or Philly, a beach or a city couple, below are some ideas for places to propose all around NJ that Alexa Lynn Photography has photographed at – and highly recommend!

The gazebo and dock at Lavallette Beach, Lavallette

Holland Ridge Farms, Cream Ridge (spring = tulips, fall = sunflowers!)

At Riverview Gardens Park in Downtown Red Bank

On the beach at the Jersey Shore (during sunrise or sunset!)
