Autumn Wedding at the Inn at Fernbrook Farms
Photographing Emily & Luke’s autumn wedding at the Inn at Fernbrook Farms was the perfect blend of historic elegance and countryside charm – plus, the best way to close out the fall season!
Nature as Your Decor
Tucked away in Chesterfield, NJ, this historic 230-acre working farm offers a blend of pastoral charm and estate elegance that feels tailor-made for a fall celebration. One of the best parts about a fall wedding here is that you save on floral costs because nature does the heavy lifting. We spotted a dried hydrangea bush that was bursting with burnt orange color! It provided a vibrant backdrop for many of our portraits.
A Reception Under the Stars
Most receptions at Fernbrook take place in their expansive tented area. For a fall wedding, I love the use of the clear-top tent. As the evening grows darker (and chillier), the clear top allows you to see the autumn stars and the silhouette of the towering trees above, while heaters inside keep everyone toasty! It creates an atmosphere of dining al fresco without the risk of the elements.
If you are looking for a venue that combines history, nature, and a touch of whimsy, this hidden New Jersey gem should be at the top of your list. It is one of my favorites!
Congratulations, Emily & Luke! I am so thankful to have been a part of your special day! 🙂
