When preparing for your family photo shoot, it’s important to coordinate your outfits for a cohesive look. Select a color scheme and use colors that complement each other. Avoid everyone wearing the same thing to look too matchy-matchy and logos. Some should be in patterns, while others should be in plain colors. Consider the location you’re taking photos, the time of year, your skin tones, even where in your home you plan to hang these photos. Lay out everyone’s outfit next to each other (if you can) beforehand to see if there’s a nice flow.

Personally, I love neutrals and pops of color. Anything timeless and classic! Stick to these guidelines and you’ll be looking sharp in no time. Below are some ideas for how to style your gang’s outfits…

Baby Girl Green Onesie // Baby Moccasins // Plaid Shirt // Sweater Dress
// Boys’ Khaki Sweater // Boys’ Denim // Womens’ Riding Boots // Hat

Orange dress // Leopard booties // Cream wool pullover // Striped shirt //
Fur vest // Skirt // Boy’s sweater // Boy’s boots

Boys’ Cardigan // Womens’ Sweater Vest // Womens’ Chelsea Boot
// Girls’ Overalls // Headband // Hat // Mens’ Flannel

Plaid Dress // Booties // Mustard onesie // Headband // Grey shoes
// Burgundy sweater // Burgundy Boys’ Pants // Denim Boys’ Shirt

Mens’ Shirt // Mens’ Khakis // Denim Jacket // White Dress // Baby Moccasins // Booties
// Baby Overall Onesie // Girls’ Blue Dress // Pearl Headband
