Spring Lake Wedding
Bryn & Bernard’s wedding day fell on Labor Day Weekend. The weather was perfectly splendid and the crowds on the beach were not as horrible as you’d expect on the Jersey Shore making it perfect for a Spring Lake wedding.
This couple was SO amazing to work with. Right from our first phone call, I knew Bryn was going to be an easy and fun bride because she was so sweet and caring. And it was so true because everyone in her lovely family was as well. I loved mingling with her bridesmaids and helping her father figure out the best plan of action to livestream the ceremony so Bernard’s family in Ghana who couldn’t make it could see the two wed live! I couldn’t help but be in awe of this loving family.
These two NYC dwellers spent their summers down the shore and knew they wanted to get married there, but I’ll let them tell the story!
LOVE STORY
As told by Bryn, “Bernard and I met online. On our first date, we talked for hours – there was instant chemistry. I knew he was different when he hailed a cab, paid the driver, and told him to get my home safely. He was a gentleman and intentional from day one. We share similar values and faith.
We had a blissful few months of dating, and then COVID happened.
As dark as some days were in NYC, I believe it only made our relationship stronger. We talked about getting married after 6 months of dating, and he proposed just before Thanksgiving at a cozy, charming restaurant in our neighborhood.”
