New Jersey Country Farm Engagement

If this golden hour silo farm engagement session doesn’t make you start singing country love songs, then I don’t know what will!

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE photographing engagements at the beach or at the garden, but when Brier & Hunter said they knew of a silo farm they frequented, I was intrigued at the opportunity for something new! This hidden gem of a location is actually on the Manasquan Reservoir Hiking Trail in Wall Township. How I never passed this before beats me!! But I know I’ll be headed back soon. We used the open fields, the long white rock path, and of course the silo to our advantage. We even found a lone John Deere tractor that we carefully utilized as a complimentary prop to our country theme.

Hunter and Brier officially met at the gym after running into each other frequently around town in the summer. Hunter asked Brier on several dates but it wasn’t until two years later that they had their first official date. From that date forward Hunter, asked Brier if they could be “a thing.” Jokingly, she said said she’d make his contact name in her phone “it’s a thing”. Hunter did the same in his phone with her number. To this day they are still “it’s a thing” in each other’s phones.

Hunter and Brier got engaged on October 1, 2023 after going apple picking in the afternoon and then took a walk on the beach where Hunter proposed. There was a mini picnic and a friend a hiding to capture the big moment on a professional camera.

I can’t wait to capture B&H’s wedding day at Clark’s Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant next spring!
